Blush Tomato

Solanum lycopersicum

Certified Organic

A gorgeous saladette tomato for snacking and lunchboxes.

Indeterminate. A newer cultivar of tomato classically bred by Artisan Tomatoes. We like to think of it as a contemporary heirloom, with beauty and flavor on one side, and vigorous plants bearing high-quality fruits on the other. Beautiful, elongated yellow fruits have a pearl-like iridescence, are very crack-resistant and have excellent field standing. A real treat to grow, this tomato is also suitable for market growers who wish to add something unique and reliable to their offerings. Mini-saladette fruits are about 2-2.5 inches long, making it perfect in pints.

Growing instructions
Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost, then transplant outdoors to indicated spacing after all threat of frost has passed. All tomatoes benefit from staking; indeterminate varieties require it. Prune tomatoes when they reach about 24" high and are starting to produce small suckers. Keep plants from coming into contact with the soil, and water at the roots as often as possible to prevent the spread of soil borne disease. When fruit begin to become fully ripe, harvest every couple of days for the highest quality fruit. At the end of the season, harvest any fruits that have begun to take on color to ripen indoors.

Wow! Favorite tomato so far. I bought this as a seedling from HVS and just picked my first ripe tomato on 7/18 in zone 5. There are at least 6 good size clumps of tomatoes already. The plant is taller than my other tomatoes and my supports. I will be growing this every year!

This was our favorite of the dozen or so varieties we grew this year. Prolific and tasty. I found myself reaching for them again and again for my sandwiches, salads, and snack plates.

Will grow these again next year. Productive plant that produced a lot even towards the end of summer. I picked them when yellow and let them ripen on my window ledge. Once they had beautiful red/orange coloring to them I would eat them, super yummy
